Is it weird that me and my girlfriend don't talk everyday?

Okay so me and my girlfriend have been going out for about four months now. I'm a bit curious as to whether people think not talking to my girlfriend everyday is weird. And what I mean by that is texting or calling each other on the phone. Sometimes we'll go a week or so without talking to one another. Sometimes we'll go a couple days or just text for a while and then stop for a few days or whatever the case may be. I honestly don't care because I do get bored after talking to her for a while and it's always good to have some space. She's mentioned the same thing before so I don't really have a problem not talking to her everyday or what have you. I was just wondering if we're normal since I have some friends who text their BF/GFs every day and my brother and his literally text every single day. Oh and if it helps, I'm 19 while she is 18.
