What to pack for a trip to NYC next November?

Next november the marching band(which I am in) at my school is going to New York to march in the Veterans Day parade. I went to New York once but that was eight yeast ago and over the summer so I don't remember what the weather is like. We will be staying for five days and four nights. We will be doing a lot of casual things like go to the Empire State Building, Ellis island and walking around Times Square etc. with the exception of seeing a broadway play and a dinner dance on a boat. Please give me a detailed list of everything I should pack for this trip. Thanks:)

ps I'm a girl even though my name is Ryan

make sure you pack warm and comfortable clothes, hats and scarves, i would definitely pack comfortable shoes. since you will be here in November i would also suggest packing a few pairs in case its snowing and they get wet. bring a winter coat and warm pj's a lot of extra socks and underwear in case you wind up showering a lot to take the chill away from being outside. some hotels are scuzzy so i would bring slippers as well.

Ryan, I used to live in NYC so I know

Pack sweatpants/jeans (enough for all of the days)

A few nice tee shirts for fancy dinners

    One nice dress

    A few casual tee shirts

    Your instrument

    Your band uniform

Also, you can bring some spending money. There's a lot of stores and shops but the prices are expensive, especially in Manhattan and Times Square.
