Backed into a UPS truck?

Question

2 days ago, I went to back out of my driveway, and there was a UPS vehicle half in the road, half in the back of the store. I accidentally bumped into the back of his truck (softly because i was just backing out) and i absolutely panicked (because im 18 and just got my license in august) and drove up the small hill by my house and parked. I walked down the hill to talk to him and he was already driving away. he didnt take pictures to my knowledge or call the police. There are a few scratches on the back of my car, but thats from my step father backing it into cement on saturday. What's going to happen?

You will have to either ask a psychic "what happens" or wait to see "what happens".

If you get busted, it's not only your fault you had the accident, damage to the UPS truck but also "leaving the scene of an accident" too. If the driver has a camera in his truck, you're possibly in deep trouble. I would call a lawyer and ask.

If no one knows it was you, you might get away with it, but if they figure it out, it'll be way worse than if you go admit to it.

Relax. It's doubtful anyone including the driver noticed. You're not going to do much damage to the big bumpers on those trucks anyhow.

insurance is going to take care of the UPS truck regardless, if no police was call is nothing is going to happen to you. you just got your license be careful make sure you look in every direction when you drive..just be caution when driving,
