A while ago I told a friend that it seemed TV Series' were becoming more popular than films..i was told I was being stupid -,-. But personally, I think they're becoming as popular as films, if not more. Can't remember the last time I watched a film haha. box sets all the way.

Two different animals. Neither will go away.
A movie is supposed to wrap up a story in a couple hours. A series is not supposed to end until everyone is tired of watching it or it has nothing new to say.
So, do you want conclusions and resolution, or do you want to watch your beloved characters over and over? Most people want a little of both.

TV series are becoming increasingly on par with films recently, but you cannot beat a good film.
