I need a cheap 2nd phone number as a "business line" to forward to my personal cell?
I have a single cell phone and probably want to keep it that way. I'd like a second phone number to use as a "business" number. It doesn't have to connect to a phone if I could have it auto-forward to my cell. Then I would know how to answer if I see that number inbound. Seems Google had something like that at one time? Some type of "virtual" phone number/phone line? Anyone know of anything out there? Free or fairly cheap? Thanks!

You're probably thinking Google Voice. Idk much about it though.

Google voice is your best bet. It is free. It gives you a phone number with your area code. Once you get a google phone number, you can set it so that anyone who calls your google phone number, be forwarded to your cell phone number.
The person who calls your google phone number will never know what your cell phone number is.
