  • Looking for new TV series to binge watch?

I'm looking for new TV series to binge watch on DVD. I love these: Mad Men, Battlestar Galactica, Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, Downton Abbey, Band of Brothers, Hell on Wheels. I love the great writing, characters, and production values. I don't lean toward horror genres. Any suggestions for others to look into? Thanks.

  • I'm looking for an Inexpensive Web Presence to get started as an Artist?

I have a domain name but am not ready to put the time and energy into a full-fledged web site. However, I'd like to get some type of presence on the web. I have a Facebook page so far but I'm looking to extend my reach beyond that. I'm exploring fine art, so as you know I'm currently starving! lol. I need something free or very cheap (thus no hosting space for now). I was thinking about a blog and linking my domain name to it? Thoughts? I'd eventually like to have a space that has links to pages where my work can be purchased. For now, I'm looking for some more exposure and networking. Thanks!

PS: If a blog, suggestions on which one? Or if another service, specific sites/links are helpful.

  • I need a cheap 2nd phone number as a "business line" to forward to my personal cell?

I have a single cell phone and probably want to keep it that way. I'd like a second phone number to use as a "business" number. It doesn't have to connect to a phone if I could have it auto-forward to my cell. Then I would know how to answer if I see that number inbound. Seems Google had something like that at one time? Some type of "virtual" phone number/phone line? Anyone know of anything out there? Free or fairly cheap? Thanks!

  • Toyota Camry VERY rough ride now?

I got in my 2002 Toyota Camry LE and noticed quickly that EVERY small dip and bump in the road felt like a sledgehammer hitting the underside of the driver's rear quarter of the car. Seems there's no "spring" in the back rear wheel. This is probably an easy diagnosis for someone who knows, but can you give me the rundown on what could be the problem so I can speak more intelligently to a mechanic? Drove fine the day before, though I think I hit a few potholes that day. Some ballpark of costs to fix would be great too. Thanks!

  • I'd like to sell my childhood stamp collection. Where should I advertise it?

I'm trying to get rid of excess stuff and stuff that I don't use and found my childhood stamp collection. I'd like to sell it (either together or individual stamps) and noticed there isn't much of a market on eBay. Any suggestions on where to try to sell it? Websites or places that people have had luck with?

  • Best time to buy Air Tix for MIA-CUR (Caribbean)?

I am planning a trip to Curacao in the Caribbean the first part of June. I noticed the AA fare just went up. Is there any way to predict if the fare will continue to go up or might drop? What's the best timeframe to buy?

I don't want to miss out on a flight (hotel is confirmed) but would like to get the best deal.

    Thanks!

  • Should the Carolina Panthers get rid of Jake Delhomme?

Jake single-handedly blew best chance the Panthers have had at a Superbowl win in years. It almost looks intentional he was so bad! Should the Panthers dump him as the QB next year?

  • Suggest some running shoes?

I need some new running shoes. I'm tall (6'4), heavy (235lbs), flat footed but with orthothics, and tend to wear out the outer heel of the shoes. I'm currently walking and adding in some running (depending on what my knees/feet can handle). Can anyone suggest some good, cushioned, stable shoes? My feet generally fit the Asics, Nike, Rockport lasts. I'd prefer to pay less too if anyone knows a cheaper brand or outdated model on sale. Thanks!

  • Tips on buying a Bass from a Pawn Shop?

I've learned a little (acoustic) guitar and wanted to try an electric bass. Not being sure I'd like it I didn't want to spend a whole lot and noticed that almost every pawn shop has 1-3 basses for about $100 or so. Any tips on buying one there to use for learning and getting started? I'd prefer to just rent one, but no one in our area does that.

    Thanks!

  • Window AC unit with Grounded Plug Adapter?

I want to put in a window AC unit (small, 5,300 BTU) but only have a 2 prong (non-grounded) outlet. How dangerous would it be to use one of the 3 to 2 prong adapters (that wouldn't be grounded)?? I'm renting and it's an older house and would be too much cost/trouble to try and redo that outlet. Thanks!

  • Ever in mourning after your vacation??

I just got back from a week's vacation (very nice trip to St. Thomas) but I am feeling grief, like I'm in mourning! It's over. It's gone. And it went by like the snap of my fingers!! I'm back at work and feeling sad.

Did that ever happen to anyone else??
