I want a basic Kindle reader: used or refurb. B/W, don't care about surfing, just simple, basic reading of my ebooks. Any thoughts? Thanks.?

    Thoughts...

    A brand new Kindle reader is $85

    The difference between reading on a reader vs a tablet is the tablet has more functionality and is heavier.  Kindle tablets start at $40.

    You should be able to find a used reader on craigslist or letgo for $10.

    How about free?  Add Digital Editions app to your smart phone.  It reads most everything.
