Thermoheat forced air heater.?
I have the 75,000 btu thermogeat forced air heater, runs off kerosine and diesel. Will it run JP8?

jp 5 is closer to kerosene. jp8 has additives that can kill you. I would suggest you lookup federal fuel chart. as you see on the back of tanker trucks, there is a 4 digit number telling what fuel is in there. the .gov site has a chart showing the numbers, what fuel it relates to and what the name is, flash points etc. in a big spread sheet. handy to have.
your problem is that jp is close to kerosene BUT is thinner thus, will not keep the oil pump lubed, will burn ok, but does not have enough leftover heavy oil to lube the internals and will ruin your heater.
