I assume yer OS is Windows 7 or 8 and you were using Windows Media Player yes? so try Ctrl+Shift+C if that doesn't work then press F4 to switch the view of items in the details pane, not sure if yer screen shot is a details pane but hey whataya got to lose, or perhaps you can bribe yer cat to cough up what she did haha or he, hey good luck!

Looks like the DVD disc properties message to me.
We may try click on the DVD software app settings to disable the Disc info option.
