FBI background check?
17 years ago when I was 18. My shoplifted something at the store (young and dumb) anyhow I went to court then they gave me another court date and didnt go because I was visiting from out of town. 17 years later I am now remembering about this again. I need to do a FBI check for working in foster care. Is this going to stop me from working with foster children :( ? Will it show up?

Yeah, it will show up and yeah, you will not get a license. In fact there is very likely a warrant out for your arrest because you did not go to your own criminal trial.
