I was asked if I would like the office manager position. It s triple the work. They said I would not be getting a raise worth this me position. I said yes but now that I think about it why would I work harder for the same amount of money I make now. I want to ask them for more money but I m scared they will fire me if I don t except the job.

can I lose weight working out from home?I dont have a car right now so I had to cancel my gym membership. I need to lose 50 pounds. I leave for work at 6am on the bus, so I cant job outside in the morning because it would still be dark outside at 4:30am. I get home at 7pm. I could possibly jog when I get home before it gets dark but when I get home I still have to cook dinner for the kid's. Any suggestions? I could also walk one hour a day at my job.

I have been asked out on a date from someone I knew when I was 40 pounds lighter. I told him about the weight gain and how I wasn't up for a date until I lose this weight. He said its okay lets workout together. Lets eat right together and etc. I dont know if I should still go on a date with him looking like this. What do you think?

I hit a pretty big road divider and ran over it. Big bang. Then immediately the oil light came on. One minute later I couldn't hit my brakes. I tried to put the car in park but it wouldn't stop. I had to take the keys out to stop the car. Now it wont even start. What could it be and is it expensive?

I maxed out my credit cards helpI have 7 small credit cards. I have had them one year now. The highest is 1k the lowest is $200. They are all maxed out now. I had a death in the family and had to use them from me not working. I am able to make payments ontime and have never missed a payment ever. But how can I get my credit to go up still? Now it's at 610...I can start paying $50 on each card monthly. Will this help?

17 years ago when I was 18. My shoplifted something at the store (young and dumb) anyhow I went to court then they gave me another court date and didnt go because I was visiting from out of town. 17 years later I am now remembering about this again. I need to do a FBI check for working in foster care. Is this going to stop me from working with foster children :( ? Will it show up?

My coworker is dating a married man. He lives with his wife but in a separate room. He says its better financially to keep it that way for now. The kids are under 5 years old. He is able to stay out late and sleep out. Could it work out between the two eventually?

We were standing in grocery line. We saw each other and stared into eachothers eyes forba good 15 seconds omg. He was sooo handsome. I was with my daughter so I didn't day a word. After we left the store and I drove away he was staring at me as he was doing the same. So I waved and he smiled and waved back. Well it sucks cause im sure I will never ever ever see him again. Yesterday I fell and hurt my foot so badly. I was crying in pain. I cant walk on that foot at all. I went to urgent care today they took an xray. The doctor said it looks like a bone is broken. He gave me cruches and said goet an appt with an orthopedic doctor asap. Now what will happen? Will I need a cast?

My 14 year old is always inviting her friend over without asking me. I come home from a long days work and her friend is over. I told my daughter please ask me before inviting friends over she doesn't listen. Today once again I come home exausted and her friend is at my house. I told my daughter.. We discussed this and she should have asked me first. My daughter said I am making a big deal about nothing. Opinions please????

am I to old to go to college?I have been seeing my younger siblings get there bachelor and master degrees. My mom pretty much respects them more for doing so. She is always talking highly of them and never talks good about me because I have no college education. I have no GED. I am 34 I make about 60k a year. I had kids early and never finished or went back to school. I have been thinking about it lately. I want my GED and I would love to go to college. Part time of course (community college) get my associates and maybe keep going. But arent I to old for this? I mean my daughter will be in college in 4 years. Maybe I am thinking to highly. I mean by the time I get a masters Degree how old would I be?

My son is 11 I am divorced from his father but I did not file for custody because his father was deported to another county so I figured it wasn't necessary. If I were to die I would never want my x husband to get my son as he is a very abusive man. I would want one oof my siblings or mom to. So would my x get him even if he was deported and not allowed into the usa again?
