dating and gaining weight?
So I had a bad year because of a death in the immediate family of a teen sibling. I gained 40 pounds. I just joined weight watchers and I am on my way to losing it. I have been asked out on a date from someone I knew when I was 40 pounds lighter. I told him about the weight gain and how I wasn't up for a date until I lose this weight. He said its okay lets workout together. Lets eat right together and etc. I dont know if I should still go on a date with him looking like this. What do you think?
We are both single just looking for more advice. Thanks

if you are really that vain to miss out on potentially meeting The One then you are better off losing that 40lbs in solitude as you suggest.

He sounds supportive of your weight loss, I say date him! It's nice to have someone to help motivate you.

I think it's really cute that he wants to do this with you. I think you should go for it. It will bring you guys closer for overcoming this together. It'd a good bonding experience. In the end, you'll be happier you did it with him, I promise. Good luck girly :)

If he doesn't care I don't see why you do. Sounds like a good guy if he's willing to see past what you think is an imperfection.

Sounds like a decent guy. Don't miss out because you're insecure right now. Go work out with him. Seriously! :-)

you can't always pick the "perfect time" to have something good happen to you. don't put your life on hold til you feel like you're good enough to enjoy it.
go out on the date, and have a good time.

You should absolutely go out with him. You're not hiding anything! You've told him up front you've gained 40 pounds and he still wants to go out with you. Hell, he even wants to work out together and get fit together. That is extremely awesome!!! Grab this guy up quick, he sounds like a keeper.

Oh go out with him!:) he's clearly seeing past your weight and you should too. Don't let 40 pounds ruin your happiness or confidence
