hit a divider car wont start?
I hit a pretty big road divider and ran over it. Big bang. Then immediately the oil light came on. One minute later I couldn't hit my brakes. I tried to put the car in park but it wouldn't stop. I had to take the keys out to stop the car. Now it wont even start. What could it be and is it expensive?

Yes, this is going to be really expensive. Very possible you punctured the oil pan and severed brake lines. Nice going.

Let me see. You wrecked this car and your first reaction is to text to this site? Do you have parents? The car is disabled, you are stranded and you have not called for help? 911 comes to mind. Your parents come to mind. Your insurance company comes to mind. A wrecker or tow truck comes to mind. And you wish to know about expenses just by asking? Really? How old are you? I shall give you a hint. This car is toast and you have a rather huge bill but that is why people have auto insurance for.

If I were to guess I would say that you may have tripped ether the fuel shut off or that their may be other issues that you may not see with out more detail on the condition of the car I really have a problem figuring out what the problem could be more info is required

probably busted the oil pan, busted the break line, and ruined your transmission
transmission alone, maybe $1,000 - $3,000 depending on how bad
keep in mind, the transmission sits underneath the car and you hit a "big road divider"
