Question for active LDS/Mormons!?

typically it's 2 lessons from teachings of the prophets on the 2nd and 3rd week with a presidency choice on week 1 and teachings for our times from the most recent conference on week 4, and combined lessons on a 5th sunday. However individual ward adaptations are frequent.

You should ask you releif society president for this information, people would be more than willing to help you out since you have a desire to study.

Different Wards can be on a different schedule. There are more lessons in the manual than we can cover in one year, so they can skip one or two as they want to.

Next Sunday should be lesson 5 for Sunday School, If Thou Doest Well, Thou Shalt Be Accepted. RS will be whatever your ward does on first Sunday. The following Sunday will be lesson 3 in the JFS book.

Ask someone in your ward. It might be different. A lot of Southern Ca had a regional stake conference last week, so we would be behind everyone that hasn't had a stake conference. RS lessons vary on wards. The RS presidency picks the theme for the presidency lessons.

The easiest way would be to contact your ward Gospel Doctrine teacher or the Sunday School president and ask them to give you a schedule.

You could also ask your visiting or home teacher to keep you updated.

since it was the 4th sunday of January you are probably on lesson 4… :) just saying. Or you could call your visiting teachers they would be happy to tell you. :)

go to the church website, go to resources, manuals, all manuals.

in there you will find RS, primary, etc....

while it does not tell you whch chapter which week, it is safe to assume that chapter one was first week and go one chapter a week, etc...(and adjust for stake conference, etc..etc.)
