Show colors for my horse this year?
I'm trying to figure out a show shirt to buy this year but there's a couple I like but am not sure if they would suit my horse so I'm looking for some opinions.
My horse is a bay overo. http://i1286.photobucket.com/albums/a601/beccastud...

Last year we used teal and I really liked it and got tons of comments so I am open to going teal again but there's also a rusty coloured shirt I really like but don't know how well it will go with him. http://www.hobbyhorseinc.com/shopping/broken-heart...
And I really like this blue one too http://www.hobbyhorseinc.com/shopping/broken-heart... My third pick is http://www.hobbyhorseinc.com/shopping/broken-heart... (you have to change the colour to see the teal version).
Which one is your favourite that you think would go with my horse?
Also this is the website http://www.hobbyhorseinc.com/shopping/tunics/ so if you feel like looking and seeing any others you think would go with him that would be cool.
I have both a black and a tan hat and a variety of pads (navy, black, teal, tan) and can also buy a different colour if need be.
Thanks so much for your opinions I will pick a best answer!!

In my opinion, I wouldn't go for the rusty coloured shirt. Although your horse seems to be a very cherry coloured bay, the rusty colour is still a brown and I think it would blend too much.
The teal looked really good. And my second favourite would be the Andromeda Tunic in indigo. The light purple will stand out against your horse because of his/her darker colouring and then the lighter colouring of the shirt.
Rusty colours and earthy colours (and even pinks too) suit black or dark brown horses and then the other end of the scale, so light greys and light cremellos as they are pretty much blank canvases.
Bays of any kind (so washed out bays, light bays, cherry bays, etc.) can be tricky to colour coordinate with but if you stick to a rule of thumb to steer clear of browns, earthy colours, reds, yellows, oranges, etc. then you'll be more likely to stand out and make a statement. Plus I much prefer brighter colours on western horses :)
Best of luck!
