When Christians ask atheists why we are taking a risk in not believing in God?

Personally, I have never asked that question. I do not think it is relevant. I guess that I ASSUME that an atheist should be a REALIST enough to know that whatever decisions they make have consequences, good, bad, natural, and otherwise.

So, I don't want to know WHY you want to risk hell vs heaven. And I also assume that atheists are "totally carefree about going to hell" because they have chosen to ignore the issue or are spiritually blind to it. Again, in my view, that is irrelevant.

What does seem "funny" to me is that, for someone who supposedly ignores any gods and are "carefree" about these things, why you spend so much of your time and energy either defending, explaining, or insulting those who do believe. I mean... logically... if you truly ignore our god, then you should also be ignoring US, and simply move on to some other question that you feel IS "relevant" to you.

It just seems illogical that... IF there IS no god, from what or from whom are you atheists trying to "save" US believers? If there is no hell to save US from, why bother to attempt to save us from something that doesn't exist? Are you saving us from HEAVEN??

And, if we are so stupid as to believe all this religion crap, why does it upset you so much if we DO believe it? What "skin" off YOUR nose is our faith? So what if we try to preach to you... to convert you... to convince you? Why are you continually insulting and attacking us? Can't you just let us "be" blissful in our state of ignorance (as you see it)? Are you trying to save us from our ignorance? WHY? Why can't you let us be ignorant? What does it benefit you if we convert to atheism? Is it one more for "your side?" WHY?
