Biblically speaking, he destroyed the tower because the people who were building it were trying to get to heaven. The ISS was not built to get to heaven.

The ISS was not built to try to get "up" to God. God isn't up in any case, so, the ISS is just fine, theologically speaking.

I have no idea. My parents remembered when Apollo 13 happened, they were given issues because the FSM was not supposed to be seen behind the moon.
