he is 22 with 25 % bf .So I talked 2 different recruiters said different answers .one said 26% the other said 24%.

He needs to look at the weight charts.

They do talk about Body Fat for the Army, and that is 22%.

That's sad- a healthy female has 25% bf. A potential male recruit shouldn't be so high.

@Michaela, are you sure? I'm pretty sure they still do tape tests at MEPs. Just tell your "friend" to lose the pounds he needs to lose.

neither. for initial enlistments, you have to be UNDER the maximum weight for your height. they don;t use the tape or BMI. that is for RE-enlistments
