Should I kiss her for Valentine's Day?

I been with my girlfriend for about a week now and she really like me back (although we met three years ago). I was thinking that on V-Day we will be able to kiss each other. The thing is I'm shy and she is the opposite. We was going to meet each other and walk each other to class that day. I'm also planning to make her a card to tell her how much I feel about her from the bottom of my heart. This would've been the first time in my life... my first kiss. I'm actually nervous now and cold just thinking about it but I really want my dream to come true. I don't know what to do and need help. Any ideas?
