The memory was a bit fuzzy but I remember certain scenes. The bus crashed, the passengers die but they became ghosts and so did the entire bus. I remember seeing it in the 1990's

Heart and Souls. A really good movie. One of my favorites. 4 passengers died in a bus the same night that a baby (Robert Downey, Jr.) was born. They all having unfinished businesses so their souls needed to get these resolved with Robert Downey, Jr.'s help. They were unaware that that's the reason why they could not leave Robert Downey's, Jr.'s side. They did not get the memo until their also dead bus driver came to pick them all up but nothing was resolved yet. They all got an extension.
