The Philadelphia Blaze might need more wide receivers because their most famous one isn't listed on their roster. In fact, he's never been listed.

I highly encourage you to join a team in your local semi-pro football league. It will still not (yet) be too late for you to start playing football.

Based on your height and weight, I believe that the best fit for you is at the wide receiver position. For your age, you have the ideal size for a wide receiver in semi-pro football.

My best advice for you is to work hard and perform very well in practice every day. In addition, what you need to do this (and every) offseason is eat healthy, exercise by doing weight lifting, and either jogging or going for a long run every day. If you do these things, you will get faster, stronger, and into better shape, which will greatly improve your chances of becoming a successful, top notch wide receiver in semi-pro football.

You're never too old. Just stay away from the positions that require height, like wide receiver or QB (unless you have the skill of a Doug Flutie). I was shorter and lighter and played intramural football (center on offence, lineman on defence).

slot receiver like wes welker, or a running back like darren sproles.

just be aware that you could possibly get tossed around.
