Can Democracy be any worse than with the wealthy Democrats running the government today?

2014 is more than likely going to cement Obama's second term as a lame duck presidency.

With the NSA scandal and the growing pains we'll see with Obamacare it's going to get worse before it gets better. Senate Democrats in many red states are pleading with Obama to put off a lot of his plans to not alienate the voters any more than he all ready has.

1. The US is a republic, not a democracy.

2. The government isn't run by wealthy Democrats.

3. It's been worse, and it will be worse in the future.

This question has to be a joke, Democrats and Republicans are running the government together, regardless of whether or not they actually work with each other.

Give a crazy man a mike like Germany did in 1936. It could be worse.
