How would the UN "sort its own house" exactly? It is not a country.
Jordan and Lebanon have a couple of million refugees. Europe very few.

Brazil is taking a lot of Syrians as well as the U.K, other South American countries are also taking Syrian Refugees, this is a "UN humanitarian effort" so there is no need for your current stance, can you not tell the difference between humanitarian and normal Immigration issues ?
It is not an immigration issue with Syria, the country is in the throes of a "bloody" Civil War, go to youtube and see the attrocities being committed there, its horrible, barbaric.
If there was no war the Syrians would stay at home.
