Mom won't let me get ears pierced? (Im a guy)?

She says "No they look hideous on boys". And I am straight but want both ears because I think it's cool. I don't really care what they say but it's either listen or wait 4 years... (have to be 18 wo/ adult) but how could I try to convince her? She let my sister get a fricking tatto in highschool... (im a freshman boy) i dont ever want guages just studs... So how could I try to convince her?

You should try to explain how much doing this means to you, and try to explain that it's your body and you should be able to do what you want with it, but if that doesn't work, there's always the super macho way of getting it done:

    1. buy a pair of studs

    2. find a sowing needle or buy a 18g body peircing needle

    3. Sterilize needle and studs

    4. freeze ears with ice

    5. jam needle through ear

    6.put in stud

    7. repeat

    8. make a saline solution http://www.wikihow.com/Make-a-Saline-Solution for after care.

My son also wanted his ears done. I told him he had to wait until he was 18 also. I think they look foolish on a guy, he doesn't agree. He turned 18 right before Christmas, he got them done, thought I would be upset, I don't care, at that age he is old enough to know what he wants. You will too and it may just surprise you. For Christmas, I gave him some more earrings that he wanted. Just wait, your ears aren't going anywhere.

I think that you should say that you are responsible enough to look after the piercings/ keeping them clean. And that you will take responsibility for what happens ; I have 7 piercings and I'm 15, I say that and my mum and dad are fine with it:) hope it helps
