There is no information concerning the first rap song that was ever made. However, the first rap-like song was done by Papa Charlie Jackson in 1924. Rock Island Line by Lead Belly is another rap frontrunner by Lead Belly though the actual first rap songs are said to have been done by the Sugarhill Gang in the 1970s.
