Why is this............................?
When using hair conditioner, the instructions usually say to leave on for two minutes. Why is it that at a hairdressers they wash it out immediately after rubbing it in?

Salon products ARE MORE HARSH and they are being paid by the hour, if they wait 2 MINS. PER INSTRUCTOR, that's 2 mins. being wasted when they should be TAKING CARE OF THEIR CLIENTS by the hour. That is what they're getting paid for.
Two mins. is just a guideline, you can wash it off ASAP, or leave it on for less than 5 mins. Others leave it on until they're done washing the rest of their bodies! Rinse their hair last.

Hair dressers are busy and don't take time to do that. I think it's mainly for home
instructions.
