Level 7s: what keeps you coming back?

Just between you and me, I'm here because I've got nothing better to do with my life.

Actually, I do like answering questions because it's like working on a puzzle, and I sometimes learn something new. Yeah, being a good Samaritan is great, but since you have posters who are functionally illiterate and don't even take the time to read the answers (when they're not dabbling in stupidity), you're better off coming to this place looking to entertain yourself (without violating the CG, of course). Still, it really means a lot when the OP selects a BA and leaves a nice comment (just a "thank you" is fine). I guess that also puts the icing on the big cake of wasted time that keeps me coming back.

TL;DR - I'm here because I'm bored.

The same thing that motivated me at Level 1: I am here to (at least try to) be helpful. Level is irrelevant if attempting to be helpful is the whole point.

I could care less about the points and levels, I just like to share my knowledge and help users from all over the world...:-)
