Introductory lessons are exactly that - an introduction. This means you can meet your instructor for the initial lesson. It gives him/her an opportunity to assess your capability and gives you a chance to see if you 'like' the instructor. If you don't get on you are not committed to an further lessons. If you are happy then you can book a block of lessons or just the next one. A block may give you a discount.
Don't commit yourself to a load of lessons until you are sure that you are satisfied with the instructor. Who should have a green badge on the windscreen if s/he is fully qualified. Most instructors are Grade 4, a much smaller number are grade 5 and very few achieve the top Grade 6.
Good luck.

Hello
Normally the Introductory is a One Lesson introduction.
Block would be booking a number of lessons and may offer a discount for doing so.
