A little bit obsession of Autumn and has strong perspective view on life, though has many philosophers made him a erratic and curious person today, he chose his own words to believe in. (Do note that I don't check my emails, so don't bother sending a PM.)

  • Long-distance walks vs Half marathon?

Recently, I ve participated in a 30 miles walk for charity. It was tough, but worth it. While I was walking for 30 miles, I had a thought how this particular task compare to a marathon.

Obviously marathon is harder, but I m curious to know if I can take it on. How does a 30 miles walk compare to 13.1 of jogging?

    Greetings all.

I have a gaming PC which is already fitted with HDD and Window 7 installed within it. From my understanding, the OS should be installed in SDD as well as applications for promising speed.

But since the OS is already installed on HDD, what should I do? Can someone give me a few simple steps?

    Thank you.

  • Looking for a anti-virus to replace?

Greetings all, I had an email from Norton about renewal and having second thoughts, that Norton is not a right anti-virus for my laptop (considering it's too much of a crap to handle such a software and dying by the minute.)

    Can anyone suggest a alternative?

What I look for is obviously a effective and strict against unwelcome guest. I also look for something that doesn't put a lot of weight on my RAM and CPU, firewall-little-helper, anti-rootkit and anti-spyware provided and I also hope it would be free (or cheap, paying 40 quid per year is a bit much for my budget.) I also want a anti-virus that scan downloads and emails for viruses.

    Thank you.

  • Podcast recommendation?

New to this and I'm getting into it recently, I listen to Hello Internet and Runaway Thoughts. (Unfortunately RT went to full stop.)

The kind of podcasts I look for is general discussion, sometimes politics and education, and by people who can be very opinionate and cut down by right choice of words. Thanks in advance.

  • I can't use left click on some links?

For some odd reason, whenever i google something, I tried left-clicking on hyperlinks but nothing happens. This also occurs when I tried to click download, it works on most sites, I can open a new tab and the right click seems to be fine.

I use Window 7 and Google Chrome as my browser, thanks.

Don't worry, this is not a suicide question. I personally like whiskey, but rather would drink responsibly.

  • My PS3 keep cutting off my router connection?

This began few weeks ago, when I turn my PS3 on, for some reason my router's connection keep cutting itself off. When I realised it's my PS3, I searched for online solution, I have tried turning off UCnP, assigning my Laptop and PS3 their own individually IP address, it worked at one point. I also have tried turning off Media Sharing but the problem still persist.

And now, whenever I turn my PS3 it on, I have to go downstair and reboot it every time. I can't use wired since the router is in the living room and someone is always using the TV.

I am using router Huiwei HG533 and a extender NETGEAR NWN3000RP. The router is downstair whilst the extender is right next to my PS3 and my Laptop in my bedroom.

This problem is making me crazy, I'd appreciate it if anyone could spare their time and help out. Thank you.

  • Which video/graphic card should I buy for my gaming desktop PC?

I've ordered a few PC parts to make it more suitable for intense gaming and hope to overcome the Xbox and PS race with my PC Master race powers. But I need an advice on which item should I fit in, I'm new to these things.

This is my computer equipment summary: http://puu.sh/6ka9F/6b7285980b.png

I've ordered AMD FX6300 and Corsair CX 500 (So the video card doesn't fry up and to replace the noisy one I have)

What Video Card do you recommend for this?

I'm thinking of buying one of these...

    Much thanks.

(I'll also need a guide for step-by-step to install these components. Anyone know a good website or youtube channel?)

  • Miliband freezes bill for 20 month, what does it mean exactly?

I've read some old news and came across about Ed Miliband plans to freeze energy bills for 20 months.

But what does it mean? Not paying anything at all in 20 month or do you have to pay 20 months worth of energy?
