How much amount of whiskey can kill you?

Don't worry, this is not a suicide question. I personally like whiskey, but rather would drink responsibly.

How much can kill you? Thanks.

Depends on the person, but anything more than two or three standard-size drams (1.5 fl oz) in an evening will cause some liver damage.

Alcohol intoxication is not an absolute function of volume. It depends on a person's age, weight, body mass composition, and metabolism, as well as the time over which alcohol is consumed. Six drinks in the course of half an hour might hospitalize someone, but six drinks over an entire day probably won't even get them buzzed. If you want to drink responsibly, don't drink more than two drinks in an hour and stop or slow down once you start feeling at all tipsy. Don't drive if you're buzzed or tipsy; it's the same as driving drunk and you can still get your *** put in jail. Alternate between drinking your choice of beverage with water to ensure good hydration and elimination.

I had to stop drinking Jack Daniels, because I'd drink a litre of it and still have beer after!

Alcohol affects people in different ways. Some can have liver and kidney problems, with just a small amount.

Liver of an average human being can digest 180 ml of alcohol in 24 hours, and considering whiskey to be on an average 40% alcohol (80 proof), the figure comes to 450 ml, so anything more than that is really harmful, but it wont kill you if you go above that for one day.
