My window is slightly open even it s closed?

Whenever I close my window, I can still see a little gap from the bottom and side way. Which is the source of a cold temperature, the leak isn t making my winter any easier.

So, do I need to replace the window? Or is it possible to tweak it? I do have some necessary tools available. Thanks.

Update:

It's my bedroom window, btw.

You get adhesive backed foam strip in a roll " draught excluder " ~ wipe the frame to remove dust and put that on it. It should help. :o)

it would be very simple to fit some strips of wood to the window edges to close those gaps ;;;;; painting before installation is also quick and less of a mess --------------------
