Regardless of race, would you...?

go to a historically black college, like Howard?

Update:

wouldn't it be against the law not to accept different races, lol?

@Noone- Why wouldn't they accept white students? Just because they're a historically black school doesn't mean they don't allow white people.

I'm black, so I don't if my opinion means anything. In actuality my parents didn't want me to go to a historically black school (even though my dad did). I've no idea why, but I wouldn't have a problem with it.

Yeah, if I could afford it and it was a good school with a good social scene (one of the most important things for me when it comes to college/uni). The only thing I would be wary of is being seen as 'different' because I'm white!

Sure, most likely I'll go to one anyway. My state has Morgan State and Coppin State, University Of Maryland and Bowie State.

  • If the unviersity catered to my needs and academic preferences, why not? Our goal in looking for colleges should always be academic excellence and suitability to our academic preferences, disregarding any other factors.

If they had strong programs in the subjects I was interested in and also offered me good financial aid, then sure, why not?

I agree with @CarolinaBelle. If they offered me a full scholarship I'd go. It would be an honor.

If it was a good school and I could afford it and it was in a good location, sure.

If they accept white people as students and if it's not a party school with good academics, yes.

If they offer a full scholarship sure, why not.
