How do I do a search on the New Yahoo Answers and look for "open" questions only?
Since the change in the layout of Yahoo Answers, I have not been able to figure out how to search for questions, but only get "open" questions to show. I am getting questions that are years old and closed showing, which is not what I want lol.
Anyone figured it out yet?
I do know how to pick a category, and ask it to filter only "open" questions, but that does not help me when I specifically search a term and only want the "open" questions for the term I am searching.

The advanced search is still available, just hard to get to. here are the steps.
1. Do a regular search on say "Advanced Search".
2. On the results page, save that search naming it say "Advanced Search".
3. Go to your profile page (Answers Home).
4. Go to the "More" on the menu and click "Saved Searches".
5. Open the "Advanced Search" saved search.
6. Click edit, and voila, you have the advanced search.
7. Bookmark that page so you do not have to hunt it again.

Unfortunately, the "Advanced Search" option may no longer be available. On the "Results" page, you CAN click for "Newest", and those do tend to be OPEN, but that is about it. And you can't narrow it by category, as far as I can tell, just by keyword. This problem is likely because the "Advanced Search" is part of "Saved Searches", which don't currently seem to be working. Perhaps this will be fixed in the future.
