Suggest me good swimming pools in Abu Dhabi?

If you're living on Hamdan Street you could go to the Al Maha Rotana or Mercure hotel. They are not so fancy but have a swimming pool that is not so crowded during evenings and sufficient for swimming.

Royal Meridien is also close by.

If you want a more fancy membership, then definitely the ones suggested by H. You could also try the new Sofitel at Capital Plaza on Khalifa Street.

There is a swimming pool in the Abu Dhabi Marina Club between the Meridien Hotel and the Co-op but at the moment the area is under refurbishment.

Should be open soon though, and I think it is free.

Le Meridien, Beach Rotana, Sheraton, Hilton are the closest with outside pools at the beach. Otherwise just visit the public beach because memberships are kinda costly.

@Skootch: the Yacht Club is ready to close down:(

edit: Le Meridien would be great for you because they have an extra bassin for beginners.
