RC plane with camera help?
Ok so after watching a few videos of RC planes with an on board camera, I want to give it a shot. Im still sort of new with this hobby but I can still manage. Now the questions.
How big does the plane have to be to carry a camera? How do you set it up? What kind of camera works best?
If possible can you post a link to a RC plane that would work best? The lower price the better.
Thanks.

How big depends on the camera size and type, from small models to those with over 10 foot wingspans.
Some can be triggered by a timer, some run continuously, (like video cameras,) and either record or
transmit the video, some are controlled by a separate channel on the transmitter/receiver.
What works best depends on what you are doing.
Source(s): Have used a high wing trainer, somewhat overpowered, (.45 instead of .25 engine and larger fuel capacity,) with a transmitting video unit, controlled by separate channel, for many years to check on cattle in rough terrain. (Note that the video transmitter(s) DOES require additional licensing, which I have.) Also uses a continuous video transmitter for flight control when out of sight, and a transmitter operating in an "amateur radio" control frequency band, which is also licensed, due to the transmit power.
