I need an opinion on work performed on an 03 jeep wrangler.?

2 months ago I repaired broken off bolts in an engine block. Had to pull the engine to do so. spent about 14 hours on it. 2 days ago he texted me saying they broke again and he stopped by for me to take a look. Long story short i rigged up a bracket to keep it from clunking and to give it some support.

so heres the question he expects me to redo the job for free, but it just snowed and he was talking about 4wd. do you think he may have been abusing it to cause it to break again?(4wd on pavement causing it to bind and stress) etc... And what should I do about it.

Additional Details

Motor mount brackets by the way...

I dont want to touch it. I dont Have time. I have been passing all my work off to a friend. The wife started night classes last month and all of my nights consist of whaching the kids.

grade 8 from ace. and passenger side motor mount bracket to block bolts.

    used and abused.

no warranties unless you express it to him.

    and 2 months after? hummm!

IF you offered warranty on the job it only boils down to how much time you offered.

all you need to ask is if the vehicle was used off road or abused(on road drag racing is one way of abuse).

now if you knew the vehicle was used for off road... its your call.

Me IF I knew this vehicle would be used off road I'd made sure I would NOT warrant the job. for obvious reasons unless that is what I do for living.

unless those vehicles came with that problem as defect under normal driving conditions I'd say...sorry man but I can not warranty off road and / or abuse.

Don't get much stronger than grade 8. Sounds like he's using it for rock crawling or something like that. Most crawlers know to chain the block to the frame so you don't break those mounts. I don't know if I could say either way. All I can say is it sounds like abuse to me.
