Why was Jiri Hudler left off of the Olympic team?

He was left off and Nedved made it on. When Sobotka got injured Erat who is having a terrible season made it instead. Why is it that they dont want him

    I'm very perplexed he's a nhl top 40 scorer on the nhls worst or close to points/goals for by team
