Adobe Flash Player & YouTube problem!? HELP!?

When i went onto youtube this morning and clicked on a video it said: Blocked Plug-in. I clicked on it and it said to update my flash player, which I did. I closed Safari (i'm on a Mac), and re-opened it. It still isn't showing me any videos. What's my problem? Do I need to restart my computer?

Thanks everyone!

Update:

I did update my flash player though..

Yes; an emergency Flash update to correct a security problem was in the tech news yesterday. If you updated your Flash player, try restarting the computer.

You should download the latest version of Adobe Flash Player, you can get it for free here http://bitly.com/1p3PAZs

Adobe Flash Player is often responsible for video issues on pc. For instance I had lots of black screens on youtube. I tried to figure out the reasons myself as people keep saying very different things on the topic. In my opinion the problem is not youtube, it's something in your computer that it's not working properly and must be updated. I am sure that if you update adobe flash player you will be able to fix all your problems and your videos will start working again.

You need the last version of Adobe Flash Player to be able to watch all the viedos on internet.

    Hope it helps.

Apple has blocked older Flash versions.

Is this an old OS version?????

    EDIT :

KATIE P, if you are using OS 10.5.8 or older, IT WILL STAY BLOCKED. Please tell which "onamac" this is. For Intel Mac, upgrade to OS 10.6–> http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573Z/A/mac-os-... (OS 10.6 DVD US$19.99) After installing the upgrade, you can update Flash to the latest. Right now, it is "updated", but not to the latest.
