My period hasn't come in 4-5 months!?
So I'm 13 and I had my period (it was brown) for 2 months and it hasn't come back since then. I told my mom but she never gives me enough info. All she says is "I don't know I never knew about mine until I saw blood" and sometimes she says this "JUST BE QUIET AND STOP WORRYING!" so she never helps me. All I need to know is why hasn't it come! I'm really worried and please give me details. (No I have not had sex obviously)

Well being that you are 13, I am going to assume that you have just barely gotten your first periods. During the next few years, you can expect your period to come at different times and anytime, b/c your body is just now starting to regulate itself. So I wouldn't worry about it, it is very normal at that age. From personal experience, mine didn't start showing up on a month to month basis until I was 17. So just be prepared for it to come at any time.

Its normal for it to be irregular when it first starts. Mine comes once every two months, it's still irregular. It takes around a year or so for it to regulate. I'm not complaining though, periods are a mess.
btw we share the same name and age:)

Hi sweetie, it may take a year or even longer to become regular. Brown blood is old blood. Hopefully you will become regular but I promise you are normal.

That is happening to me to. I thought there was something wrong with me... my mom thought I needed to go to the doctor. Thanks for the reassurance! :)
