Light paint scratches?

Hello, i have a '93 DeVille that's clean with the exception of the paint having light scratches from clearing snow. The goober used a house broom as opposed to the brush made for the job. Can i just give it a good waxing/buff or will it have to be painted. Other than the scratches, the paint is in excellent shape!

    To get the best results:

    1. Use a clay bar with lubricant to remove all debris from the paint.

    2. Polish with Buffer or by hand, just do small areas at a time.

    3. Then put a polish on with a buffer or by hand.

May want to test a few areas first to see how much polishing you will have to do. Miguiars makes a complete kit may have to use a the polish with a high grit then work your way down to a finer grit to remove scratches.

You might have to take a polishing compound and electric buffer to get them out and then put a good coat of wax on it.

Polish and a dual action polisher will take them out. Then apply wax.

Wax alone will fill the scratches, but only polish will take them out

Use car polish, then wax it.
