Bra on white car discoloration?

I recently bought a white '99 Honda Civic Sedan with a bra (front cover, ive just always heard it called a bra.) Under the bra it is a different color than the rest of the car, is there any way to fix this?

The same thing happened to me on a yellow car. I bet with a few dollars and a few hours of work, you can make it much better. Here is what I did and my recommendation to you

    1) Stop using the bra. For the reasons that 1wbrockstar2004 states, I too believe it does more harm than good

    2) Give the car a good wash. Hand wash or a high quality car wash that uses brushes (not the touchless kind in other words)

    3) Buy and apply a coat of Polish on the entire hood. Meguiar's Clear Coat Safe Polishing Compound or Mothers Micro Polishing Glaze Step 2 are good ones. Should be about $8-$10 for the bottle

    4) After polishing buy and apply a coat of wax. Mothers California Gold Carnauba Cleaner Wax is a good choice. Very good wax and easy to apply. Should be about $8-$10 for this too. While you are there, don't forget to buy two waxing pads (one for polish, one for wax) along with a microfiber towel if you do not already own.

    5) It is likely you will be so impressed with the results and yourself, you will want to do this with the rest of the car. The difference a polish application followed by a coat of wax to protect the shine makes is very significant.

    Good luck.

No.The paint basically fades less under the bra because the sun isn't getting to it.Plus a bra traps moisture under it.
