Will this work for mites on my hamster? (diatomaceous earth product)?

That is what it says on the side. It also says "Silicon Dioxide 90% (Present as Diatomaceous Earth)". It looks like a fine white dust and it kind of sticks together like flour. I've been told that diatomaceous earth works well for treating mites in hamsters as well as worms in cats. I have both of these problems.

Would it be safe to sprinkle a bit of this in my hamsters bedding? Also would it be safe to feed to cats? It says the additives are also food grade. For fleas, can I rub the powder directly on my cats and dog?

Yep, should be fine for all those uses. I've used it on my pet pigeons, dog, and rats before after adopting them with fleas or mites.

You can also consult a vet though, even if only over the phone or email if the mites don't clear up soon.
