  • Is my cat going into labour?

So my cat is pregnant and probably due any day now. About 9 hours ago she started crying for me and wanted me to sit by her nest with her. But when I sit with her she starts dozing off. She also purrs loudly and looks like she's breathing heavy (but it's not fast breathing, like heavy and slow). When I don't sit by her nest she meows at me or my sister until one of us sits with her. The cries sound almost as if she's in heat. She doesn't seem to be in pain. She's a pretty small cat. I've had pregnant cats before but none of them acted quite like this.

Is she starting to go into labour? Or does she just want someone to be around her because she might have them soon?

  • Is my cat going to have her babies soon?

Okay so my cat is pregnant and I'm pretty sure she's due any day now. A few hours ago she started making weird sounds and wouldn't leave me or my sister alone. I put her in her nest and she was breathing heavy but it's like four hours later now and they still haven't come. Now she's sleeping in her nest and is still meowing at me when I'm not there with her. I've had pregnant cats before and they all wanted me there with them at the birth.

Right now my cat is lying in her nest practically asleep. She looks like she's breathing heavy still and I can see the kittens moving around in her. Is she starting to go into labour? How long does labour typically take? I think she has around 4 kittens.

  • Question about weed butter?

Okay so I'm looking at recipes for weed butter online and every one I saw the butter was measured in "sticks". Where I live, butter comes in blocks of either a pound or half a pound. How much does a "stick" of butter weigh, and what is a good weed-butter ratio for actual bud (not shake or trim)?

  • Diatomaceous Earth for deworming pregnant cat?

I already have food grade diatomaceous earth that I use to treat my hamster's mites. The internet said I can also use it for deworming cats. I'm pretty sure my cat is pregnant (I've owned lots of female cats that at one point got pregnant so I know how to recognize the signs by now). She's had worms for a while before she got pregnant and I've been treating her with worm meds but now that she's pregnant I can't give those to her. I read that diatomaceous earth is perfectly safe for pregnant cats to deworm them.

How much should I feed her, and how often? Can I mix it with things other than wet food? I can't really afford to buy some every day. Could I mix it with milk or maybe shake it up with the dry food?

  • Connection problems with black ops 2 multi on ps3?

Every game I join I have a solid 1 bar connection. My nat is type 2 and it says it's open. Even playing with my friends who live in a town less than half an hour from me is laggy as hell.

Ive tried port forwarding to no success. I tried giving my ps3 a static ip address and added it in the dmz settings on my router. That helped a bit but when I do that the internet doesn't work on other devices. I've tweaked every setting in my firewall options relating to wireless devices. Everything the internet says I should do doesn't work.

I started having these issues after a friend of my uncle's reboot our computer and installed windows 7 (I had vista before). Wtf is going on and how do I fix it?

Should I wrap my tattoo up while I sleep?

I just got a tattoo a few days ago and I asked my artist if I should wrap it up while I sleep. He said he personally wraps his tattoos up at night when he gets a new one because he's a "crazy sleeper".

I don't move around a whole lot in my sleep. But I sleep like the middle figure in the picture. My tattoo is on the inside of my wrist so it would always be touching the bed and/or pillow. Should I bandage it up while I sleep to prevent crap from sticking to it? I usually only sleep for around 6 hours.

Just got my first tattoo yesterday and I have a question?

I bandaged my tattoo up while I slept last night and I took it off and there's brown liquid stuff all around it. Is that normal? Or should I use a different ointment?

  • What sorts of cream and soap are best to use on a new tattoo?

Are penaten (diaper rash and general skin irritant cream) and polysporin good to use on it? Also I see a lot of debate over scented vs non-scented. Some people say scented stuff can make the tattoo fade and be more prone to infection. Others say that scented lotions and soap just sting more and other than that they're fine to use.

  • I'm getting my first tattoo in a few days and I'd like some tips?

Is there anything I should/shouldn't do before my tattoo? I'm getting it on my wrist, in your opinion, are wrist tattoos painful? Is there anything I should know about the healing process?

Basically any tips you have for a tattoo virgin would be great. And it's a tribute to my dad who died so I won't listen to any of the "tattoos will ruin your future blah blah blah" crap. I've already thought long and hard about this tattoo.

  • Questions about making lipstick with crayons?

So a makeup artist I watch on YouTube upload a video about making Crayola lipstick. She used coconut oil, vaseline, and a crayon.

I thought, why not just melt down a white chapstick and use that? Would that be possible? Also, could I use only vaseline?

Will this work for mites on my hamster? (diatomaceous earth product)?

That is what it says on the side. It also says "Silicon Dioxide 90% (Present as Diatomaceous Earth)". It looks like a fine white dust and it kind of sticks together like flour. I've been told that diatomaceous earth works well for treating mites in hamsters as well as worms in cats. I have both of these problems.

Would it be safe to sprinkle a bit of this in my hamsters bedding? Also would it be safe to feed to cats? It says the additives are also food grade. For fleas, can I rub the powder directly on my cats and dog?

  • Does this sound like mites?

My hamster is scratching himself furiously and grooming way more frequent and aggressively. He's also chewing his feet, and losing hair in very defined patches. He also flinches when I pet him or try to pick him up. He never does that, he loves my attention and when I hold him.

Does this sound like mites? Would tea tree oil work to get rid of them? Could I use it to disinfect my hamster and his cage? What other remedies work well? He's a Syrian by the way, and a pretty old one at that. (He's over two)

  • I'm pretty sure my hamster has mites, what remedies do you recommend?

I thought he was losing hair due to old age, but I noticed him scratching furiously and grooming a lot more than usual. He's also rolling around in the bedding to scratch himself. So I'm pretty sure he has mites.

What remedies do you recommend? Would using diluted tea tree oil as a topical treatment and spray to clean his cage get rid of the mites?

  • Which kind of rodent is a cage like this suitable for?

http://s2.hubimg.com/u/88169_f260.jpg (it's not letting me upload it)

I currently own a syrian hamster in a cage just like that. I was wondering what other rodents could live in it? Because I plan on having more in the future. I've owner 2 syrian hamsters including my current one, a dwarf hamster, and 2 mice.

I'd like to own rodents that enjoy being with other rodents. I would really like a chinese hamster, but they don't get along with others of the same species, and they are hard to get, and they could probably slip through the wires. I did read somewhere though that they get along with other species of dwarf hamsters. I'm pretty sure that cage would be too small for two rats. Would 2 siberian dwarf hamsters be able to live in there? Would they be able to slip through the cage as babies? the mice I had were in a wire cage and they didn't slip through.

Also, if I own two rodents, do I have to get another wheel? And how good is alfalfa bedding? Is there any other cheap bedding better than the woodchip crap?

(I'll post the cages dimensions as soon as I find a tape measurer)

  • Does no name toilet paper use bleach?

I want to give my hamster some toilet paper to put in his nest. The only brand we have now is no name. It says it's septic safe but it doesn't say anything about bleach. What about Cashmere toilet paper? I looked on Google but it's effing stupid and not understanding what I'm looking for.

  • I just noticed a bald spot on my hamsters back that wasn't there yesterday?

My hamster is around 2 years old, is he starting to lose hair because he's getting old? It's not a very big spot, and I know it wasn't there yesterday because I hold him every day. I gave him a piece of a dog treat today (a chicken flavoured milk bone, I checked the ingredients and there's no garlic or onion). It's the first time he's had one. Other than that his diet and bedding are the same as they've always been. I did recently make him a coconut swing/loft bed, and I had to move his water, could the change in environment be stressing him out? The skin looks completely normal where the bald spot is, and he doesn't seem irritated or upset at all.

  • Will getting this tattoo affect my future career?

I'm getting a tattoo in tribute to my dad soon, and I was wondering if my tattoo would affect my chances of my future career? It's going to be on the inside of my wrist.

At the moment, I'm unemployed. I live in a small town with lots of teenagers and young adults so it's really hard to find a job.

In the future I either want to be a tattoo artist myself, a photographer, or both. But I'll have to get a job in a factory (or part time) till l make enough money for a dsl-r.

I know having tattoos as a tattoo artist isn't an issue. My concerns are mainly about being a photographer and if I'll be able to get a job in a factory. In your opinion, would I still get clients if I have a tattoo? How about getting a factory job until I can buy a camera? I know my boyfriends work doesn't care about tattoos because he has a plainly visible tattoo on his hand.

  • I want to make a swing for my hamster, should I use string or wire?

I want to keep the swing in his cage, and I'll need to anchor it to the cage with something too or else he'll probably flip it over.

He doesn't seem like he really likes to chew things, I put a toilet paper tube in his cage and after weeks of it being in there I could only see a few little bite marks. But I'm worried that if I use string he'll try and take it for his nest and choke on it.

Would soldering wire work? It's easy to bend, so it would be easy to use that. What kind of wire should I use? And where could I buy said wire?
