we're expeceted to be perfect citizens of soceity. People (mostly our peers) put way too much pressure onj us to be just like everyone else. We try and try but still get looked down upon because there is something we dont do like the rest. i hate being a teenager mainly because this is the time of stress due to school work, bullying, and being treated like a child but expected to act like adults.

My mom does but my dad doesn't. My mom recalls feeling embarrassed when she was young so she gives me some sympathy, and gives me tips about the years I'm going through and what is important, my dad is oblivious. He thinks time never changes, only clothes and hair does.

Like if you're a normal kid it's not all that tough. I really think your life isn't that tough unless you have a hardship like poverty or a disease or something extreme, yknow. Sure, somedays it's tough and I have to pull an all nighter to get my work done - but compared to other things, I got it good. (And no I'm not super rich or something)

I would honestly say no. Our society is caught up on technology and looks. They grew up in the past when it wasn't important to "text someone back" or "tweet about your day". I'm not saying they don't care but it can be harder for them to understand.

Nope, especially my parents, who grew up in Africa and not America, like me. They assume everything is so simple. For example, bullying. My mom thinks you're just weak if you don't handle bullying well. They really have no idea.

I don't think they do cause, at least my parents, seem to expect me to be perfect when it is nearly impossible to be perfect.
