Do i have to boil mopani wood before i put it in tank?

    Boiling the wood will be the most effective way to keep it from leaching tannins into the water and to make sure it doesn't carry any pathogens into the aquarium.

    It isn't the only way to do that, though. Alternately you could soak it in a Rubbermaid for a few weeks to get most of the tannins out, and spot anything it may be carrying. But boiling would be faster.

    Yes i boil any thing before i put it my tank and all fish are great and healthy

    No, it doesn't need to be boiled.
