Does anyone have any sure fire tips on repairing black/african american hair.?
My hair now is very thin from constantly having braids and weaves in it. I am now attempting to let my hair rest by wearing wigs. I am also attempting to washing my hair and greasing my scalp hair more often (Course of Nature Shampoo, Conditioner, Cantour Leave-In Conditioner). Any cheap but potent remedies to assist with hair growth for black hair is appreciated.

I am working on this same issue so many women are having. I have 5 more weeks to go before I publish my findings. If it serves correct and inch a month is what you can expect. So excited, so far my hair has grown an inch per month since I have started. I just want to make sure this technique is sound before I share.

Make sure you start from the inside out by eating a healthy diet full of veggies and fruit.
Drink 6-8 glasses of water daily
take a multi vitamin
Do scalp massages daily with castor oil
deep condition your hair every 2 weeks ( ORS replenishing pak)

you need to wear your hair natural for a year and make sure you moisturize your hair. African american hair dries and breaks easily when not properly taken care of. If you must wear a wig, only wear the wig with a silk wig cap because cotton can break your hair off and wigs can cause alopecia.
