Is 200 too high heart rate while exercise?
Sometimes while exercising my heart rate is around 180, and it could reach 200 maximum. Is that too much?. I do have hyperthyroidism.

How old are you? We normally calculate maximum heart rate by the simple formula 220 minus your age.
So, if you're under 20 then 200 would indicate a reasonable maximum.
Note that this formula is not all that accurate... the correct way to calculate maximum heart rate is by maximum effort... Working very hard to the point you cannot sustain the effort.
Like... running up a steep hill till you just can't maintain the pace any more.
You should be severely gasping for breath at this point... It's hard work.
Also.....Take care how you measure your heart rate. A monitor is best, but if you do it manually don't take the carotid pulse. (the one in your neck). There's a nerve plexus there and if pressure is put on it you can get a false reading.
Use the radial (wrist) pulse.
