Is cars.com a legitimate place to look for a car?
Have seen the commercials, but has anyone used it and liked the results from using it?

Cars.com is nothing more than a website where dealers advertise their cars for sale. Of course it is legitimate. It;s as legitimate as the dealers who pay to advertise their cars on the site.
You have to deal directly with the seller. Cars.com is nothing more than a place to advertise.
