Is it good that my wife and I were able to sign up for health insurance thru the ACA?

We haven't had heath ins for over 3 years as our employer doesn't provide coverage (less then 50 employees) and we also had pre-existing medical problems that prevented us for buying health insurance in the open market. I went on the Cover CA site and signed us up in about 30 minutes. Our premiums are low and the coverage good. I send a check each month to Blue Shield and they sent us cards.

I just don't know what Obama has to do with it now. Why do some many Cons complain about something that actually helps a fellow human?

Why are so many cons complaining about something that helps people?

    1. Because Dems passed the bill and Obama signed it into law.

    2. Because cons would rather pay to kill furiners and blow stuff up overseas.

As a taxpayer, I am glad to help provide my fellow Americans with vital life-extending health care. Maybe within our lifetimes, we in America will enjoy what the rest of the developed world enjoys - universal health care. In the meantime, we continue to overpay for treatment and meds because cons don't want no soshulizm.

Because they are Cons, that's why.

My family's premiums under Covered California went down from almost $3,671 per month to $1,141 for all 3 of us, and I do not get any subsidies from anybody because I make too much money.

But just because health insurance companies can no longer discriminate against us citizens based on the ACA, a.k.a Obamacare, the rates went down by almost 75%. That alone would make me vote for Obama again if he could run again, despite a lot of things I do not like about his policies.

my health insurance costs just doubled and benefits decreased 10%. Normally I would just cancel and go without insurance if my rates went that high but now, again because of Obama, I cant. Why should healthy people be forces to pay for sick peoples healthcare?

Wait until your preexisting condition requires a Specialist. And your subsidized

piece of crap policy doesn't offer that specialist. And now you have to go out of

net work. Which means thousands of dollars of cost right out of your POCKET.

But you got Obama Care. Smile and hope you never have to use it for anything

more simple then a damn cold.

If your premiums are low because your are getting a subsidy you need to thank the rest of us for paying it for you. But this really sounds a lot like one of the paid ads the government is running.
