car insurance question..?

my car insurance was due the 10th but unfortunately i dont have a job anymore therefore i wasnt able to pay it on time.. however, i did call my insurance company and asked if i could get an extension on my bill. they gave me 15 days to pay it. but my question is if my bill is extended am i still covered? im scared to take my car out cause i dont wanna get pulled over and get my car impounded. thank you to those who answer?

    In all likelihood, yes, you are covered through the extension period. However, you really need to ask your insurance agent to make this clarification.

    Yes,,,,the extension SHOULD cover you. It's a grace period but I'd pay that premium ASAP before it expires!!! ASK you insurance agent for clarification.

    Probably but don't bet the farm on it. BUT....Why are you asking here when the ONLY people who know for absolute certain is YOUR INSURANCE company?
